The Mughal Queen NoorJehan and beautiful Princess Jahanara™ called Persian and Turkish craftsmen to India, who passed secret art of crafting royal dresses to only their generations. Later the Queens of Nizams of Deccan adapted the original Mughal style. Now popularly known in India as Hyderabadi Joda. Today the expensive Mughal art is kept alive by Jahanara Collections ™ as very few craftsmen survive. Worldwide only the privileged Jahanara Collections ™ products are proof of royalty and grandeur which cant be captured in fake copies of original exemplary royal art & crafts of Jahanara™. The Nizami style Kurta is made from pure Gold silk tissue with self embossed wide stripes pattern. The Kurta has six panels ( 6 kali) and each panel is highlighted by red-gold handmade lace.
The Kurta has traditional neckline in Hyderabadi style with embellishment of golden-red zari border on neckline, armholes, half sleeves and entire flare. The neckline has delicate golden chords for tie-up.Golden Silk Satin as inner chemise.
Three metres long traditional Hyderabadi Khada Dupatta is an exemplary creation. The golden stripes silk tissue is hand crushed and reduced to width of half metre.
The red border is adorned with hand work of dabka, beads , mirrors , kundan and tikkis. Golden trimmings on both sides of borders give antique touch to the royal ensemble. The Churridar pajama is a masterpiece by Jahanara Collections ™ Made from Red Banarsi luxury silk fabric in orebi cut. All Churridars have snap button at ankles and finished with a prestitched elastic belt / chord as specified. The mark of a lady, elegant very well tailored, classic en-vogue and royal.
